A compact and light binoculars and good value. I found the close focus particularly good while birdwatching in Tobago. I would caution that some may find the eyepieces difficult, my wife preferred our heavier Chinon Zoom pair, but missed out on brilliant views of anything closer than 20ft.

I bought these binoculars on the Spur of the moment prior to attending a outdoor music event. I don’t regret that. They are lightweight and extremely clear. I now intend to carry them when I am out doing a little walking. I give them the full thumbs up.

These binoculars are excellent value and are easily portable. The magnification is good and they are lightweight. Perfect for walking and birdwatching.

Bought specifically for use on a safari holiday in Kenya. Chose these binoculars as a direct result of recommendation by ‘Which’.

    Did not disappoint.

My wife wanted something simple, relatively lightweight and not too expensive for holiday travel as we enjoy wildlife. While no match for serious bird-watching binoculars, these are ideal for her and were used to spot some particularly striking sunbirds in South Africa recently. The field of view is a little small, but good light capture for poor light conditions. All in all, an excellent buy for the money.

Excellent, brighter, bigger field of view and better focus than previous binoculars. Also smaller and lighter so very good. Easier to hold steady as lighter. Fixed magnification but amount is good. Could identify a bird at more than 30m

After looking at ‘Which’ magazine reviews I found these binoculars were the cheapest available online and my husband is thrilled with them

It is about 80% of the brightness and sharpness of my Zeiss East-German Jenoptem 8×30′s. I compared the Zeiss recently with some Nikon and Canon binoculars at around £300-350. My Zeiss was better. So thats saying something about the Olympus. Build quality – low to middling.

Highly recommended. But gets 4 stars due to the build quality.

MY 25 year old binocular, were very heavy and large, to take away on holidays, but my new ones are very light and very small, i can carry them with me all the time now, they look good to, i’m very happy from order to delivery, just what i was looking for, + which magazine said it was good to.

Bought these for Hubby’s birthday as we went for a 2 week holiday to South Africa and spent 5 days in Kruger. He loved the binoculars as they were easy to use and pack. So light and even fitted inside our camera bag. Would recommend these to anyone looking for a small light but great results binoculars.
